Para ampliar o desenvolvimento econômico e social do Baixo Parnaíba, o Governo do Maranhão vai iniciar as obras de pavimentação da MA-312, interligando os municípios de Araioses e Água Doce do Maranhão.
A ordem de serviço foi assinada neste domingo (26), em Araioses, pelo governador Carlos Brandão, que também entregou novos sistemas de abastecimento de água para o município.
A ação do governo representa um marco significativo na política de infraestrutura do estado. Após décadas de espera, essa iniciativa atende a uma demanda histórica da população local, visando melhorar a mobilidade e impulsionar o desenvolvimento econômico na região.
“A pavimentação da MA-312 vai transformar essa região, trazendo mais desenvolvimento e oportunidades, fortalecendo o turismo. Além disso, também vamos dar mais segurança e agilidade ao tráfego entre os dois municípios. Junto com a obra de pavimentação, estamos trazendo cinco novos sistemas de abastecimento de água para os povoados, para que a população não precise mais se deslocar em busca de água para suas atividades diárias. Esses são dois benefícios que, com certeza, vão melhorar a vida das pessoas”, afirmou o governador Carlos Brandão.
O prefeito de Araioses, Neto Carvalho, informou que a assinatura da ordem de serviço para a pavimentação da estrada põe fim a uma espera de 50 anos. “O governador Carlos Brandão tem cumprido sua principal promessa para o povo maranhense: fazer um governo municipalista. Esta ação de hoje é mais um exemplo.
A pavimentação da estrada vai melhorar a economia da nossa cidade e fazer com que muita gente saia da pobreza. Em nome da população de Araioses, eu só tenho a agradecer”, assinalou.
A prefeita de Água Doce do Maranhão, Eliane Dias, também participou da solenidade e frisou a importância da pavimentação da via. “Hoje é muito difícil trafegar por essa estrada, porque ela não tem condições. A gente está há muitos anos esperando por essa obra, e finalmente ela chegou. Vai ser um momento de muita transformação para a nossa cidade”, disse.
